Accommodation.

When looking after young people on the mountain it’s good to get a good nights sleep before and after the expedition. My preference is always a Premier Inn as they are super comfortable and clean and they generally have adequate parking an are easily accessible from most parts of the UK.

Transport To and From.

We need to get there and back somehow. For me that means travelling from Guernsey which means a trip on Condor Ferries with a minibus before my D of E adventure really begins. For most people operating out of the UK this will not be relevant as they won’t have the English Channel in the way.

Driving with Students is always a challenge but I’m fortunate enough to have a well equipped Ford Transit minibus which has served us well for many years.
